Director
Dr Preema Vig gives Acute Healthcare the governance lead on all activities that are undertaken. Her keen eye and accurate practice of medicine has allowed Acute Healthcare to maintain safe practice for all its clients and patients.
Dr Preema Vig, Aesthetic Doctor and General Practitioner, specialises in non-surgical facial cosmetic rejuvenation using Dermal Fillers and Injectable muscle relaxants. She practices results based aesthetic treatments and regularly attend conferences and continuous training enabling her to keep updated and to learn new techniques.
She has lead, advised and been responsible for one of London’s leading prestigious clinics, her job title being Medical Director housing an aesthetic team from doctors to aestheticians, caring for thousands of patients.
She is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors (BACD), International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) and International Institute of Anti Aging (IIAA) with over 10 years experience. Dr Vig has trained using the best techniques and latest technologies so patients can be reassured they receive the highest level of both Medical and personal care. She is also a member of the General Medical Council, British Medical Association, Royal College of General Practitioners and the Medical Defence Union. Dr Vig is registered with the Health Care Commission performing light based and laser treatments.
She graduated in 1997 from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London. Thereafter she gained all medical and surgical experience in both, The Royal Free Hospital and The North Middlesex Hospital University Trust, London’s teaching hospitals,
She became a General Practitioner in 2003 and completed postgraduate training culminating in membership to the prestigious Royal College of General Practitioners. She continues to practice General Practice in central London within the National Health sector and in addition to the above she still manages to participate regularly on a weekly basis for the NHS Out of Hours GP Service within the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster PCT.
Dr Preema Vig has been asked to speak at various events. She has been interviewed and quoted a number of times in national newspapers and magazines, such as the Times, The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail, Zest Magazine, Psychologies, and local central London newspapers and news letters.
Her recent achievements include winner of “NHS Health Superstar GP of the year” awarded by the Kensington and Chelsea PCT.
Clinical Lead
With over six years clinical experience, Dr Lidder brings to Acute Healthcare the medical and clinical input that each project strives to reach and maintain. He ensures all medical protocols and pathways have clinical relevance and also governance targets are maintained.
He began his medical path graduating from The Royal Free and University College London Medical School. His medical learning curve took him throughout London’s teaching hospitals, gaining medical experience ranging from working in general medicine to surgery specialities. Having worked under the supervision of one of London’s leading gastroenterologists, he gained medical knowledge and clinical skills that puts him in the era of evidence based medicine. His surgical experience ranges from Ear, Nose and Throat surgery to gastric cancer surgery whilst working with a world renowned general surgeon.
He has had the rare opportunity to work at the world famous Priory Roehampton Hospital where his experience in mood disorders and substance misuse put him in a good clinical position to bring Acute Healthcare into the world of medicine which is often overlooked in this day and age of medical care.
With Acute Healthcare, Dr Lidder has advised and had a major clinical input into the urgent care drive to help streamline primary care medicine with secondary care medicine. This has been a major success and has led to many similar projects and pathways being modelled on the work done by Dr Lidder on this aspect throughout hospitals in London.
He has a very successful career in primary care medicine, having completed and qualified as a General Practitioner in recent years. This great asset in being close to primary and secondary care of patients, has enabled him to have an great impact on working pathways between the two sectors.
His recent achievements include being nominated for a NHS Champions Award by The Kings Fund and Evening Standard.
Project Manager
Mandeep Gill joined the Acute Healthcare team in 2008 as the project manager, her role is to manage all service and business developments, from planning, implementation and review. Mandeep has extensive experience within health care management, ranging from primary and secondary care experience within the NHS over seven years.
Her employment portfolio includes working for Ealing PCT as an Access Facilitator where she worked with 84 GP practices, to ensure primary care projects related to access were developed and implemented, in line with the NHS Plan. As a Locality Commissioner at Richmond and Twickenham PCT she supported the development, planning and delivery of Practice Based Commissioning (PbC), to commission and redesign new and/or existing clinical pathways. Within PbC, she implemented, managed and reviewed demand management initiatives. She also has contract negotiation and management experience at a local and acute level.
Her experience within secondary care has been focused on Cancer Waiting Times. As a service improvement facilitator at The Royal Marsden Hospital, she worked in collaboration with the trusts multi disciplinary cancer team, and colleagues from The South West London Cancer Network, to review the current patient journey with these teams and to facilitate service re design to improve the experience and outcomes for patients. As a Cancer Service Manager as West Middlesex University Hospital Trust, she worked with the senior clinical colleagues on the development of the Cancer Strategy within the trust. Her duties extended from day-to-day operational management, to implementation of national and local recommendations in line with Improving Outcomes Guidance from The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).
